Hand-loomed of all British wool, Roger Oates is part of the rebirth of the Arts and Crafts movement in home furnishings.

We believe that the products we offer should be both beautiful and practical. The Roger Oates collection is developed with an ethos deeply rooted in heritage and craftsmanship. Through experimentation in color, pattern, and texture, these designs maintain a contemporary edge while celebrating traditional techniques.
Quality and Craftsmanship
Roger Oates’ runners are meticulously woven in the UK using 100% wool yarn spun and dyed in Yorkshire. Traditional Hattersley fabric looms were modified to weave heavy wool flooring, retaining the distinctive hand-woven quality and selvage- all finishing is done by hand.
Timeless Designs for Modern Homes
Their captivating striped designs quickly gained popularity, reinventing flatweave flooring for the 20th century. Now, Roger Oates blends their rich archives with a strong design focus and a desire to innovate, connecting heritage with contemporary design for 21st-century homes.
